Kevin Faltin, Executive Director of the Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International and Francesco Scuderi, Secretary General of Eurovent announced a 3-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two manufacturer associations.

From 04 to 08 February, the Eurovent Team is going to be at the ASHRAE Winter Conference and AHR Expo in Atlanta, USA. Both the conference and expo provide forums where manufacturers and suppliers come together to share ideas and showcase the future of HVACR technology.

For Eurovent and its units Eurovent Middle East, Eurovent Certita Certification and Eurovent Market Intelligence, 2022 was marked with many important developments, of which we’d like to share a few.

UL Solutions, a global leader in applied safety science, announced and addressed latest advances in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) testing at the 2022 Eurovent Summit, which took place on 25–28 October 2022 in Antalya, Türkiye. HVACR safety science experts from UL Solutions provided insights on regulatory requirements, flammable refrigerants, ultraviolet-C and sanitation for the HVACR industry.

The organisers of CIAR 2022 - XVI Ibero-American Congress on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration are inviting proposals for papers to be presented during the event. Interested potential speakers are invited to submit a 150-word abstract in English, Spanish, or Portuguese on the CIAR 2022 online submission platform before 1 October 2021. CIAR 2022 will take place in Lisbon, Portugal from 4 to 6 May 2022.

Eurovent and the Federation of Ibero-American Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Associations (FAIAR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding, underlining their commitment to greater harmonisation and stronger ties between Europe and Latin America.

The ongoing COVID-19 outbreak already forced the postponement of the upcoming EUROVENTSUMMIT from September 2020 to October 2021. After carefully evaluating the situation, the organisers have decided that the Summit will be further postponed to 2022.

Eurovent has partnered up with shecco and became an official partner of the upcoming second edition of the ATMO Virtual Trade Show. The event will launch on 30 March 2021 and focuses on sustainable cooling technologies. Eurovent will be present with its own virtual booth. Attendance is free of charge.

Following the success of the updated Eurovent Recommendation 4/23 – ‘Selection of EN ISO 16890 rated air filter classes for general ventilation applications’, Eurovent has teamed up with ABRAVA (Brazilian Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation) to publish the Brazilian version of the industry recommendation in the Portuguese language. The comprehensive guideline makes full use of the potential EN ISO 16890 offers in terms of Indoor Air Quality.
