PRODBIM, an initiative dedicated to supporting manufacturers through their content digitalisation and publication, has launched its new website. The website provides easy access to certified data in BIM software and exchanges.

The European Commission has released on 5 April 2022  its much-awaited proposal for a revision of the F-Gas Regulation, together with a proposal for a new ODS Regulation.

An overview of the past 2014-2022 developments were presented during the consultation forum, and a first discussion on the draft working document took place. The Commission integrated the comments made during the meeting and awaits further written comments by 29 April 2022.

Eurovent has published both the Swedish and Portuguese updated version of Recommendation 4/23 ‘Selection of EN ISO 16890 rated air filter classes for general ventilation applications’. This Recommendation aligns with the 2021 WHO global air quality guidelines.

GEN – 1362.00 informed about the development of an EU roadmap towards whole life carbon of buildings. At the end of March, the consultancy Ramboll, published “Towards embodied carbon benchmarks for buildings”. Pages 19 to 25 of this study provide an update on the situation in the Member States.

The European Commission has adopted, on 30 March 2022, and published its proposal for Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, within a package of European Green Deal proposals.
