Eurovent heeft de Franse, Nederlandse en Noorse bijgewerkte versie gepubliceerd van Aanbeveling 4/23 „Selectie van EN ISO 16890 nominaal luchtfilterklassen voor algemene ventilatietoepassingen”. Deze aanbeveling is in overeenstemming met de wereldwijde richtsnoeren voor luchtkwaliteit 2021 van de WHO.

The ongoing generation change within Eurovent has brought, among other changes, a major shift in the Board of Directors. The recent changes entered into force during association’s 66^th General Assembly 2022 in Malaga.

On 23 June 2022 the 2nd stakeholder meeting for the revision process of the MEErP will take place. The report and updated eco-report tool includes aspects of material efficiency and the environmental footprint. 

From 23 May to 15 August 2022, feedback can be provided on the Impact Assessment. The assessment includes labelling proposals that extend to air-to-air heat pumps. The adoption of the revised regulation is expected for Q3 2023. 

On 24 May 2022 the EEPLIANT 3 Advisory Board met for a third time to present an update on the various Work Packages. The project runs until November 2023 and deals among others with air conditioning and residential ventilation.

On a monthly basis, the Eurovent Team compiles a global overview of the latest developments concerning new standardisation activities, technical regulations and legislative developments of relevance for the HVACR industry.

The EPREL database has gone live on 17 May and is now accessible for the public. The Commission has updated on 20 May its ‘EPREL questions and answers’ document.

As expected in the previous update (GEN 1381.00) the Life Calls for proposals 2022 now includes a call to set up this compliance support facility.
