The Technical Secretariat of the HLCF has issued the 22-page report of the 1st meeting and invited to the topical meetings 19 October – Digitisation, 20 October – Resilience and 22 October – Green topic.
In 1991 Eurovent, together with the American, Canadian and Japanese associations founded ICARHMA, the International Council of Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating Manufacturers Associations. Meanwhile the membership has increased to eleven members covering many parts of the world. ICARHMA allows the association to discuss global issues related to energy and environmental related issues.
The Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC) was set up as a voluntary partnership in 2015 during the 21st Conference of Parties (COP21). It involves 30+ countries and 100+ members with different backgrounds and fits within the United Nations Environment Programme. The aim is to work towards a zero-emission, efficient, and resilient buildings and construction sector.

From 05 to 06 October 2021, the Eurovent Team is going to be at Indoor-Air 2021 – a German trade fair for ventilation and air quality. Eurovent will be at your disposal for requests concerning legislation, standardisation and general industry developments.
On 28 September the Commission published its 7-page recommendation on Energy Efficiency First: from principles to practice together with a 59-page annex with guidelines and examples for its implementation in decision-making in the energy sector and beyond.
On a monthly basis, the Eurovent Team compiles a global overview of the latest developments concerning new standardisation activities, technical regulations and legislative developments of relevance for the HVACR industry. This information allows members to be prepared for developments that can have an impact on them and their products.
The HLCF is meant to co-create (and monitor) the green, digital and resilient transition pathways for the EU construction industry ecosystem. It fits within the context of the Communication on ‘A Renovation Wave for Europe’. The HLCF will interact with a number of stakeholders’ platforms described in Renovation Wave and prepare a future initiative on a sustainable built environment

Istanbul, 01 October 2021. During the ongoing ISK-SODEX exhibition, Eurovent and ISKID (the Turkish Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association) have announced the confirmed date of the upcoming 2022 Eurovent Summit. The event is scheduled to take place from 25 to 28 October 2022 in Antalya, Turkey.
