The ongoing COVID-19 outbreak already forced the postponement of the upcoming EUROVENTSUMMIT from September 2020 to October 2021. After carefully evaluating the situation, the organisers have decided that the Summit will be further postponed to 2022.
Eurovent Product Group ‘Air Handling Units’ (PG-AHU) has published the first edition of Eurovent Recommendation 6/15 – Air Leakages in Air Handling Units. The Recommendation presents guidelines for improving Indoor Air Quality and correcting the performance of Air Handling Units due to internal leakages.
The latest references to the harmonised standards for pressure equipment were published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 10 February 2021. They include relevant references for refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps.
As announced earlier this year, Eurovent Market Intelligence (EMI) has published a report focused on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the European HVACR market. The 93-page study provides a market forecast for 2020-2023 based on product type, country, application and project type. The first Blue Guide was issued in 2000. It provides for a better understanding of EU product rules and aims to support a uniform and coherent application across different sectors and throughout the single market. Even though the Blue Guide is a non-binding document, it is very often referred to for guidance by Member States, the Commission and stakeholders. The update takes into account the legislative developments since its 2016 edition.
Owing to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, the organisers of the EUROVENTSUMMIT have announced the postponement of its upcoming edition to 2021. Initially scheduled for September 2020, it will now take place from 12 to 15 October 2021 in Antalya, Turkey.
