Programme for the symposium of the Spanish HVACR industry in the course of the 2018 Eurovent Summit revealed

The Spanish Industry Symposium will take place on 27 September 2018, within the framework of the 2018 EUROVENTSUMMIT, and will focus on the Spanish HVACR industry. This year’s Eurovent Summit is co-organised by Eurovent and its Spanish Member Associations AEFYT (Association for Refrigeration Technologies) and AFEC (HVAC Equipment Manufacturers Association), and will be held at the Hotel Melia Lebreros Sevilla, between 25 and 28 September 2018.

Brussels, Seville, 16 May 2018. The registration portal and final programme of the EUROVENTSUMMIT are now online. The 2018 edition of Europe’s major gathering for key decision-makers in the area of Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies is going to take place from 25 to 28 September in Seville, Spain. It connects close to 500 industry leaders from Europe, the Middle East, Northern Africa, and international markets throughout around 40 seminars, meetings, and events. The EUROVENTSUMMIT again offers a unique side programme and experiences that go beyond the usual conference experience.

The European Commission has just published a roadmap that should tackle the issue that today not many products are conceived with circularity in mind. The aim is to identify shortcomings and improve existing legislation. 

Sustainable Development Goal 7 on “energy”

In 2015, members of the United Nations (UN) adopted an agenda with 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to improve the living conditions of people everywhere. The agenda was later complemented with the Paris and Kigali agreements on climate change. The UN together with partners from governments, civil society and businesses is aiming to achieve this agenda by 2030.

Refrigeration & HVAC Indonesia exhibition regarded as hub for European companies

Jakarta, 19 February 2018. During an official ceremony in Jakarta, the Eurovent Association has signed a partnership agreement with Indonesia’s leading HVACR exhibition: Refrigeration & HVAC Indonesia (26-28 September 2018, Jakarta International Expo). Through the continued partnership, Eurovent underlines its commitment to support and promote the use of energy efficient equipment in Southeast Asia’s largest country. The Association already supports the Indonesian government with the development of cold chain legislation and infrastructure.

Eurovent Middle East to continue its ‘HVACR Leadership Workshops’ with a seminar focussed on evaporative cooling equipment (cooling towers)

Dubai, 15 November 2017. Eurovent Middle East has announced the next event within its ‘HVACR Leadership Workshops’ series, which is going to focus on Evaporative Cooling and takes place within the parallel programme of The Big 5 Dubai exhibition on 28 November 2017 (14-18:00h). The workshop is being organised in close cooperation with the EU-GCC Trade and Business Cooperation Facility and DMG Events. The association’s non-commercial, free-of-charge seminar will see leading experts in this field outlining ways to save resources by going evaporative.

Second edition of ‘HVACR Leadership Series’ in Dubai saw high-ranking experts sharing their knowledge in this sector

Dubai, 1 November 2017. Close to 100 people have attended Eurovent Middle East’s second ‘HVACR Leadership Workshop’ at the Le Meridien Dubai Airport hotel, which put a focus on Commercial Refrigeration. Together with the participants, leading experts from the UAE and Europe have elaborated on how to achieve a higher food safety and cost savings through state-of-the-art refrigeration technologies.
