The EPBD file is progressing in both the Council and Parliament. The Council appears poised to water down the proposal of the Commission, whereas the EP seems likely to call for more ambition and higher focus on social aspects and co-benefits, including Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ).

Eurovent has published the French, Dutch and Norwegian updated version of Recommendation 4/23 ‘Selection of EN ISO 16890 rated air filter classes for general ventilation applications’. This Recommendation aligns with the 2021 WHO global air quality guidelines.

Eurovent har publisert den franske, nederlandske og norske versjonen av anbefaling 4/23 «Valg av luftfiltre klassifisert etter EN ISO 16890 for allmenn ventilasjon». Anbefalingen er oppdatert i tråd med WHOs retningslinjer for luftkvalitet i 2021.

Eurovent a publié la version actualisée française, néerlandaise et norvégienne de la recommandation 4/23 «Sélection des classes de filtres à air nominales EN ISO 16890 pour les applications générales de ventilation». La présente recommandation s’aligne sur les lignes directrices de 2021 de l’OMS sur la qualité de l’air.

Eurovent heeft de Franse, Nederlandse en Noorse bijgewerkte versie gepubliceerd van Aanbeveling 4/23 „Selectie van EN ISO 16890 nominaal luchtfilterklassen voor algemene ventilatietoepassingen”. Deze aanbeveling is in overeenstemming met de wereldwijde richtsnoeren voor luchtkwaliteit 2021 van de WHO.

On 12 May 2022 a stakeholder meeting took place where the results from the desk research and ongoing test were presented. The tests would end by June. A reporting would follow in the 2nd part of 2022.

The European Parliament’s ENVI Committee published its draft opinion on the EPBD proposal. It notably underscores the importance of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).

Brussels, Marne la Vallée, 10 May 2022. Aereco, one of France’s leading manufacturers of hybrid and mechanical ventilation systems has been formally approved to join the Eurovent family during a recent online meeting of the association’s Board of Directors.

In 1979 AIVC was set up as one of the annexes of the International Energy Agency. A 50-page document has just been published which contains references to documents and persons that have co-shaped todays’ environment for ventilation equipment.
