The Eurovent Product Group ‘Commercial Refrigeration Equipment’ (PG-RDC) has elected Victor Gomara (R&D Director, Koxka) as its new Vice-Chairperson. The elections took place during the group’s online meeting on 10 May 2023.

Climatizacion & Refrigeracion, an international air conditioning and refrigeration trade fair held in Spain, has submitted its 2023 plan for the next edition of the fair. It will be held 14-17 November 2023.

In order to foster its educational mission, the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI) renews its scholarship program for the 2023 school year. Apply now for the scholarship if you are a student entering college in STEM curriculum.

The Eurovent Team is going to be at Euroshop from 27 February to 02 March. Euroshop is one of the leading world retail trade fairs where manufacturers offer their products and solutions for retail industry by showcasing their retail technology and store designs.

From 11 to 13 October 2022, the Eurovent Team will be at Chillventa in Nuremberg, one of the world’s leading exhibitions for refrigeration technology. Meet us to discuss legislation, standardisation, or general industry developments.

The Green Cooling Summit 2022 will take place on 13-14 September 2022, virtually. This year’s focus will be on Green Cooling in Supermarkets, and all interested Members are invited.

Mr. Alan Foster, Senior Research Fellow for the Heating and Cooling Group at the London South Bank University, is the new chairman of the IIR Sub-Commission D1 – Display Cabinets. He succeeds Mr. Seitz Van Der Sluis. Inputs are welcomed on the sub-commission’s new activities.

Refrigeration has become part of our daily lives, and to celebrate the 2022 World Refrigeration Day for refrigeration and air conditioning impact in our lives, Eurovent would like to show in a short video why cooling matters to us all.

The launch meeting of 18 February 2021 will be followed by a stakeholder meeting on 13 January 2022. A Consultation Forum has been indicated to take place in March 2022. The adoption of the reviewed regulations by the European Commission is scheduled for the second quarter of 2023.
