HVAC & Refrigeration Live (HVACR Live), the UK’s only dedicated national exhibition for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration sectors will take place from 18 to 19 April 2023 at London Excel.

For Eurovent and its units Eurovent Middle East, Eurovent Certita Certification and Eurovent Market Intelligence, 2022 was marked with many important developments, of which we’d like to share a few.

Refrigeration has become part of our daily lives, and to celebrate the 2022 World Refrigeration Day for refrigeration and air conditioning impact in our lives, Eurovent would like to show in a short video why cooling matters to us all.

The organisers of CIAR 2022 - XVI Ibero-American Congress on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration are inviting proposals for papers to be presented during the event. Interested potential speakers are invited to submit a 150-word abstract in English, Spanish, or Portuguese on the CIAR 2022 online submission platform before 1 October 2021. CIAR 2022 will take place in Lisbon, Portugal from 4 to 6 May 2022.

In the spirit of the 2021 World Refrigeration Day, Eurovent introduces its Cooling Champions. Meet some of the faces from the Eurovent family in a short video that explains why the HVACR industry is cool and why it matters in everyone’s daily life. Follow the Eurovent Cooling Champion video series throughout the summer and join us in celebrating the coolest day of the year.

The ongoing COVID-19 outbreak already forced the postponement of the upcoming EUROVENTSUMMIT from September 2020 to October 2021. After carefully evaluating the situation, the organisers have decided that the Summit will be further postponed to 2022.

Hannover Messe Sodeks Fuarcilik A.S, the organiser of the leading Turkish industry exhibition, has announced its 2020 HVACR sector statistics. The exhibition will take place from 29 September to 02 October 2021 in Istanbul, Turkey. It will be one of the first face-to-face HVACR industry events following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eurovent has partnered up with shecco and became an official partner of the upcoming second edition of the ATMO Virtual Trade Show. The event will launch on 30 March 2021 and focuses on sustainable cooling technologies. Eurovent will be present with its own virtual booth. Attendance is free of charge.

After two events outside Europe (2017 USA, 2019 China), the 11th International Conference on Energy Efficiency in Domestic Appliances and Lighting (EEDAL) conference returns to Europe in 2021. In 2021, EEDAL will be organised jointly with the International Symposium on Science and Technology of Lighting and will take place from 8 to 10 November in Toulouse, France.

Eurovent’s Associate Member UL is organising a webinar on the new compliance regulations in relation to Brexit. The event will take place on Wednesday, 21 October 2020, 10:00-11:00h (CEST) and aims to help manufacturers to navigate market access requirements through the Brexit transition. Eurovent members and partners are cordially invited to take part.
