2021 - Organisers announce new date of 2022 Eurovent Summit

Istanbul, 01 October 2021. During the ongoing ISK-SODEX exhibition, Eurovent and ISKID (the Turkish Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association) have announced the confirmed date of the upcoming 2022 Eurovent Summit. The event is scheduled to take place from 25 to 28 October 2022 in Antalya, Turkey.

As COVID-19 travel restrictions ease in most European countries, some activities have gradually resumed. From September onwards, events in different countries can now be attended in person with a few border entry requirements. COVID-19 safety measures extended until end of September 2021

Following the ISO approach, to safeguard the health and wellbeing of Eurovent members and partners during the COVID-19 pandemic and to provide for certainty regarding planned meetings, it has been decided to continue hosting all Eurovent meetings virtually until 30 September 2021. Further updates will be communicated to members in due time.

New Junior Communications Officer in the Eurovent Regional Office Prague

Warm welcome to Ngoni Taruvinga, our new Junior Communications Officer. Ngoni recently joined the Eurovent Team to provide support in administration and communication activities. He is based in the Eurovent Regional Office Prague from July 2021.

World Refrigeration Day 2021 promotes cool careers for a better world

In the spirit of the 2021 World Refrigeration Day, Eurovent introduces its Cooling Champions. Concrete dates to be announced later in the year

The ongoing COVID-19 outbreak already forced the postponement of the upcoming EUROVENTSUMMIT from September 2020 to October 2021. After carefully evaluating the situation, the organisers have decided that the Summit will be further postponed to 2022.

Organisations emphasise use of ISO 16890 as reference standard for general ventilation

Brussels, Paris, Dubai, 19 May 2021. Eurovent, in cooperation with Eurovent Middle East and Eurovent Certita Certification, will host a dedicated webinar tailor-made for Africa, Middle East, India and Southeast Asia. The webinar will outline the importance of adherence to latest standards in air conditioning and ventilation. Special focus will be placed on the application of the newest air filtration standard ISO 16890, which has replaced EN 779 and other international standards in recent years.

Senior Director, Manufacturing and Operations at Systemair succeeds Naci Sahin

During the 65th General Assembly, which was held online, the Eurovent members have elected Raul Corredera Haener (Systemair, Spain) as President of the Association. He succeeds Naci Sahin (FRITERM, Turkey), who was Eurovent President since 2018.
