On Tuesday, 23 January 2018 from 13:30-14:30h (Brussels time), the Eurovent Association is going to host a Webinar on its new Recommendation 4/23 (2017) on the “Selection of EN ISO 16890 rated air filter class for general ventilation applications”. All HVAC professionals dealing with ventilation systems are invited to join, independent from their Eurovent membership. After a general introduction, participants are invited to ask questions. Lisbon, 23 November 2017. During their 18th ‘Autumn Seminar’ in Lisbon, EFRIARC, the Portuguese association of Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, has announced its membership in the Eurovent Association, which was previously approved by the Eurovent Commission. Effective as of 1 January 2018, more than 30 additional manufacturers are going to join the Eurovent family, further strengthening the association’s footprint within the global HVACR industry.

Eurovent Middle East has announced the next event within its ‘HVACR Leadership Workshops’ series, which is going to focus on Evaporative Cooling and takes place within the parallel programme of The Big 5 Dubai exhibition on 28 November 2017 (14-18:00h). The workshop is being organised in close cooperation with the EU-GCC Trade and Business Cooperation Facility and DMG Events. The association’s non-commercial, free-of-charge seminar will see leading experts in this field outlining ways to save resources by going evaporative.

Dubai, Al Garhoud. On Monday, 25 September 2017, the launch event of Eurovent Middle East’s ‘HVACR Consultant Leadership Workshops’ took place at LeMeridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Center. The first workshop was tailor-made for local engineering and MEP consultants in the UAE and saw 232 people of the regional HVACR community and Dubai authorities participating.
Dubai, 27 August 2017. Eurovent Middle East has announced its new, free-of-charge seminar series ‘HVACR Consultant Leadership Workshops’. The official launch event is going to take place at LeMeridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Center on 25 September 2017. It is tailor-made for local engineering and MEP consultants in the UAE with the core aim of informing them about standards and industry recommendations in the field of ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
In a further move to increase cooperation between our members, most upcoming ventilation-related Product Groups meetings (AHU, CUR, ERC, FANS, FIL) will be held within three days in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, from 4-6 October. Together with our Dutch member VLA, a side-programme including a panel discussion with EU decision-makers is going to be organised. Members that have not yet signed up should do so as soon as possible.
Madrid, 26 June 2017. During a dedicated meeting in Madrid, representatives of AEFYT (Spanish Association for Refrigeration Technology), AFEC (Spanish Association for Manufacturers of Air Conditioning Equipment) and the Eurovent Association have signed an agreement to jointly organise the 2018 Eurovent Summit. It was announced that the next edition of Europe’s major gathering for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies is going to take place in Seville, Spain, from 25 to 28 September.
