Krakow, 28 September 2016. During the President’s Breakfast at the Eurovent Summit in Krakow, the Eurovent association has published a corporate video, which provides in-depth insights into the functioning and scope of the association, as well as key issues the European industry is dealing with. The film has been published at Eurovent’s new online channel ClimaNovela, which is now available on YouTube and Vimeo.
Frankfurt am Main, 8 September 2016. Chillventa is just around the corner: the international trade fair for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps will be held in Nuremberg from 11 to 13 October 2016. This year again, eurammon will have its own booth at the international trade fair.
Eurovent association underlines its commitment to Europe’s leading HVACR exhibition
Brussels, Milan, 30 August 2016. The Eurovent association and Reed Exhibitions Italia, the organiser of the well-known Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE), have signed a wide-ranging cooperation agreement – underlining the support of Eurovent members for Europe’s major HVACR-related exhibition. With the agreement, Eurovent becomes ‘official partner association’ of the event, whose 41st edition is going to take place in Milan in March 2018.
Eurovent further supports the exhibition as official European Association Partner
Brussels, Jeddah, 12 August 2016. From 15-17 January 2017, the second edition of the HVAC R Expo Saudi is going to take place at the Jeddah Centre for Forums & Events with Eurovent as the official European Association Partner. Same as in 2016, Eurovent will organise a dedicated trade delegation to Saudi Arabia, and host a seminar programme. All Eurovent members are going to receive a significant discount on the usual booth rate, and profit from a reduced ticket fee for the delegation.
Brussels, Krakow, 20 July 2016. The Eurovent association has published the programme for its Eurovent INNOVATION/HUB, which takes place on 29 September 2016 and constitutes the flagship event of the 2016 EUROVENTSUMMIT in Krakow, Poland. In the unique environment of Stara Zajezdnia, an old tram depot, the INNOVATION/HUB is going to host leading industry personalities to present visions and ideals through keynote presentations given in a TED-style manner. The event follows Eurovent’s lead ideal of thinking ‘Beyond HVACR’. It is co-hosted by global measurement and controlling devices manufacturer WIKA, Industry Leader of the 2016 EUROVENTSUMMIT.
Brussels, 18 July 2016. During the 2016 EUROVENTSUMMIT in Krakow (Poland), REHVA is going to host a high-quality side programme on 29 and 30 September 2016. The association is going to provide participants with the latest updates on building regulations that shape our industry's market as well as technology evolutions matching these regulations. In addition, REHVA Committee Meetings will be held in during the 2016 EUROVENTSUMMIT.
Abu Dhabi, Brussels, 7 July 2016. The ‘call for presenters’ for the upcoming Climate Abu Dhabi 2016 exhibition (3-5 October 2016, ADNEC, Abu Dhabi) has now been launched. Until 12 August 2016, interested organisations can submit proposals for seminar presentations, or panel discussions for the exhibition’s ‘Climate Technology 2030’ Forum, which is organised in cooperation with Eurovent and will take place in a seminar theatre in the centre of the exhibition hall.
Brussels, 27 June 2016. During the 2016 Eurovent Annual Meeting in Verona, the Eurovent Commission, the committee of national member associations, has finalised their first European-wide Statement of Principles on an industry that thinks ‘Beyond HVACR’. The document acts as a basis for decisions taken by the Eurovent association and is recognised by its member associations on a national level. It incorporates wider industry perspectives, statements on key policy issues, and visions that help to ensure a true level-playing field.
Brussels, 24 June 2016. As decided by its members during the 2016 Annual Meeting in Verona on 16 June, the Eurovent association is going to strengthen its activities in the residential ventilation area. As a first measure, a Product Group dedicated to ‘Residential Air Handling Units’ (PG-RAHU) is going to be launched, building upon Eurovent’s long-term experiences and large manufacturing base in this product field. A highly experienced project manager has been engaged to take on this activity.

Verona, 22 June 2016. During a dedicated ceremony at the Eurovent Annual Meeting in Verona on 16 June, Eurovent President Alex Rasmussen has congratulated AFEC on its 30-year membership anniversary on behalf of the entire Eurovent network. Rasmussen thanked Spain’s air conditioning and ventilation manufacturers association for their long-term support in bringing the European industry closer together. The dinner gathered Eurovent members from more than 20 countries.
