Dubai, 12 April 2018. Eurovent Middle East has just announced a flagship workshop on Air Handling Units. The free-of-charge event is part of the association’s ‘HVACR Leadership Workshop’ series. It is going to take place at LeMeridien Dubai Airport on 30 April 2018 at 6PM and includes a networking dinner. With Mr Martin Lenz (Lead Development Engineer at TROX and Chairman of Eurovent’s Product Group AHU), Europe’s leading expert in this field is going to join the event.

The Eurovent Middle East association has announced the next edition of its free-of-charge ‘HVACR Leadership Workshops’, which is going to take place at LeMeridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre on 26 March 2018. This time, leading air filtration experts from the UAE and Europe are going to elaborate on state-of-the-art air filtration, its effects on Indoor Air Quality and health. As a special guest, one of Europe’s leading filtration experts is going to provide a keynote presentation.
Jakarta, 19 February 2018. During an official ceremony in Jakarta, the Eurovent Association has signed a partnership agreement with Indonesia’s leading HVACR exhibition: Refrigeration & HVAC Indonesia (26-28 September 2018, Jakarta International Expo). Through the continued partnership, Eurovent underlines its commitment to support and promote the use of energy efficient equipment in Southeast Asia’s largest country. The Association already supports the Indonesian government with the development of cold chain legislation and infrastructure.

The tradeshow is run in collaboration with Turkey’s leading bodies and organisations in the industry and will take place from 7-10 February 2018. Eurovent is an official supporter of the event.

Eurovent Recommendation 4/23 constitutes a comprehensive guideline, which supports a swift transition away from EN 779 while making full use of potential EN ISO 16890 offers in terms of Indoor Air Quality
Brussels, 14 December 2017. The Eurovent Association has officially released the first edition of its long-awaited code of good practice Eurovent 4/23 (2017) on the “Selection of EN ISO 16890 rated air filter classes for general ventilation applications”. The publication is addressed to all HVAC professionals dealing with ventilation systems, particularly design consultants, facility managers and manufacturers of equipment incorporating air filters. It was jointly developed by participants of the Product Group ‘Air Filters’ (PG-FIL).

Lisbon, 23 November 2017. During their 18th ‘Autumn Seminar’ in Lisbon, EFRIARC, the Portuguese association of Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, has announced its membership in the Eurovent Association, which was previously approved by the Eurovent Commission. Effective as of 1 January 2018, more than 30 additional manufacturers are going to join the Eurovent family, further strengthening the association’s footprint within the global HVACR industry.
