GEN – 1426.00. The October edition of the Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) newsletter has just been released. The 2nd plenary SRI platform meeting will take place on 23 November 2022, from 09.30 to 12.00 (CET), online.

SRI Newsletter October 2022 – summary

The SRI platform serves to promote and support the testing and implementation of the SRI. It gathers Member States and all stakeholders interested in the SRI to facilitate interaction and discussion on technical, regulatory and implementation aspects of the SRI. The details with links can be found in the newsletter.

2nd plenary SRI platform meeting

The 2nd plenary SRI platform meeting will take place on 23 November 2022, from 09.30 to 12.00 (CET), online. The related agenda can be found below:

‘SRI-explained’ factsheets and resources

The Commission offers support and guidance to EU countries who want to implement the Smart Readiness Indicator, or who wish to start by launching a non-committal test phase.

To get a deeper understanding of how the SRI works for each building technical domain, we invite you to give a look at the ‘SRI-explained’ factsheets:

  • A focus on Ventilation systems
  • A focus on Lighting systems
  • A focus on Electric vehicle charging systems

More factsheets will be published in the coming months, and additional resources are already available on the SRI website.

Recommended actions

The SRI might with time, be introduced in a few countries. Members are recommended to take note of the evolutions by reading the newsletter.
