GEN – 1475.00. The April 2023 edition of the Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) newsletter – including three new SRI factsheets related to the Domestic Hot Water, Electricity, and Monitoring & Control technical domains – has been released.

SRI Newsletter April 2023 – summary

The SRI platform serves to promote and support the testing and implementation of the SRI. It gathers Member States and all stakeholders interested in the SRI to facilitate interaction and discussion on technical, regulatory and implementation aspects of the SRI. The details with links can be found in the newsletter.

SRI Platform 3rd plenary meeting: recording, presentation and report

This 3rd plenary meeting gathered around 300 participants, both in-presence in Brussels and online. The front running Member States who are currently implementing an official test phase of the SRI presented their latest updates: in particular, Czech Republic, France and Croatia were able to share their progress, initial findings, and some practical examples of SRI assessments conducted on buildings. New SRI factsheets released

To get a deeper understanding of how the SRI works for each building technical domain, it is important to give a look at the ‘SRI-explained’ factsheets.

The factsheet related to the Domestic Hot Water, Electricity, and Monitoring & Control technical domains  have been released.

Recommended actions

The SRI might with time, be introduced in a few countries. Members are recommended to take note of the evolutions by reading the newsletter.
