GEN - 773.00. This international conference on all aspects of fans takes place every three years. The third edition takes place in April 2018.The conference is supported by Eurovent and Eurovent Middle East, Uniclima and VDMA.
Scope
As in the two previous editions the presentations will focus on the latest technology developments and the development of legislation and standardisations. Attention will be given to the noise issue and the development of computational methods.
Not only the fans themselves are in the scope of the conference, also the application of fans in other products such as air curtains, cooling towers
Opportunities
Members can respond to the call of papers by 11 September 2017. Besides the technological developments they could present issues that have resulted from the introduction of the eco-design fan regulation 327/2011, its implementation and ongoing revision.
Not only the fans themselves are in the scope of the conference, also the application of fans in other products such as air curtains, cooling towers can make for an interesting as well as the case studies of applications in tunnels, agricultural buildings etc.
At the venue, there will also be opportunities for exhibiting products.
Recommended Action
Manufacturers and associations who are interested in making a presentation of in the exhibition or sponsorship are recommended to respond and contact timely the organisers of the event.
