Eurovent has published the French version of Recommendation 6/17. This recommendation provides minimum functional requirements for control systems of Air Handling Units and clarifies the importance of controls in regard to energy consumption, safety, commissioning and maintenance aspects.

Eurovent Recommendation 6/17 explains the advantages of factory-supplied optimised systems and describes the legislative and normative framework of Air Handling Unit controls. It further provides the vital control functions impacting energy efficiency, mechanical and fire safety operations and general aspects of maintenance. The Recommendation was prepared in a joint effort by participants of the Product Group ‘Air Handling Units’ (PG-AHU) and is addressed to all ventilation and air conditioning professionals, including system planners, installers and manufacturers.
