Do you want to become a member of our industry association? This page provides you with the information you need to know before joining.
After you submit the online application form, your application will be presented to the Eurovent Board, which decides on admission. You will be onboarded once the application is approved.
Eurovent has three membership categories, which are described below.
Member Association
This membership category is open to national associations of HVACR manufacturers. The annual contributions for Member Associations vary according to size as follows:
- Each year, the Eurovent General Assembly defines a membership contribution budget, which in 2018, was 261.020,00 EUR.
- From this contribution budget, the total fixed contribution of all Members are deducted, leading, in 2018, to a projected variable contribtuion of 193.020,00 EUR.
- Each Member covers a share of this contribution based on the level of GDP of their country in relation to the other European countries.
- The GDP figures used for the calculation are those published by Eurostat and relate to the GDP from three years ago. That is, the 2018 variable contribution was calculated on the basis of the 2015 GDP.
- The contribtuions for new Members are calculated proportionally.
Member Associations have full voting and participatory rights in all Working Groups. They also have voting rights in the General Assembly and the right to nominate candidates to the Eurovent Board. Moreover, Member Associations are represented in the Eurovent Commission, which is the steering committee that defines the general political guidelines of the association and oversees the activities of the Working Groups.
Corresponding Member
This membership category is open to HVACR manufacturers with a footprint in Europe.
To be eligible for membership, manufacturers must be a member of at least one of Eurovent’s Member Associations, unless they are based in a country that does not yet have a Member Association.
The annual contributions for Corresponding Members vary according to global turnover in the HVACR sector as follows:
Turnover class | Member of a Member Association | Not member of a Member Association |
|---|---|---|
Very small (less than 10M EUR) | 2.000 EUR | 4.000 EUR |
Small (less than 50M EUR) | 3.500 EUR | 7.000 EUR |
Medium (less than 100M EUR) | 5.000 EUR | 10.000 EUR |
Large (less than 1B EUR) | 7.500 EUR | 15.000 EUR |
Very large (more than 1B EUR) | 12.000 EUR | 24.000 EUR |
Corresponding Members have full voting and participatory rights in all Working Groups. They have the right to attend, but not vote at the General Assembly.
Associate Member
This membership category is open to any other stakeholder that is active in and contributes to the HVACR industry, including, for example, laboratories, software providers, designers, contractors, and exhibition organisers.
The annual contribution for Associate Members is fixed at 2.500 EUR.
Associate Members have no voting rights, but they do have the right to attend all Working Groups as well as the General Assembly.
