Member of the European Parliament who was the rapporteur on the recast of the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED).
Nikolaos Kontinakis
Nikolaos Kontinakis works in the Energy Efficiency Unit of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy (DG ENER) as the Team Leader for the future development of the energy efficiency policy. His work involves the 2030 energy efficiency targets, the policy development and framework for 2040, the ‘energy efficiency first’ principle, and the nexus between energy efficiency and ICT particularly in data centres. For more than 20 years, he has worked for the development and implementation of policies and projects in the areas of energy, climate, ICT and the sustainable development of cities and regions.

Task Force ‘IT Cooling’ meeting
Meeting is open to Eurovent members only
The Eurovent Task Force ‘IT Cooling’ (TF-ITC) is a platform for Eurovent members. The launch meeting will provide more information about ongoing developments, discuss member needs, and define some terms of reference for the group. The meeting will collaborate transversally on regulatory and standardisation developments in IT cooling applications.
